Join ATCO as a Material Handler where you will be integral to our warehouse operations.

This role focuses on the meticulous management and handling of materials ranging from receipt to distribution, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy in inventory control.

Your efforts will support the seamless flow of materials needed for essential services, making a direct impact on our daily operations and project success.


What You Get to Do:


  • Efficiently handle goods and materials, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and dispatch.
  • Sort and prepare salvage materials for disposal or sale and manage returns of surplus items.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, yard, and associated facilities.
  • Accurately fill and prepare orders linked to specific work orders and projects.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to monitor and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safety and precision in all operations.
  • Assist customers at the warehouse counter, providing prompt and friendly service.
  • Contribute to inventory accuracy by diligently managing stock issues and returns.

What You Bring:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid Alberta driver's license, with a clean driving record.
  • At least one year of related experience in a warehousing environment; certification in warehousing/logistics is an asset.
  • Certification or ability upon hire to obtain certifications such as electric forklift operator, Standard First Aid, TDG, and WHMIS.
