    We currently have a rewarding career opportunity available for a Prime Therapist to join our team at Ravensview, a part of Homewood Health, a leading provider of mental health and addiction treatment services in Canada.

    Homewood Ravensview is a private 75-bed mental health, trauma, and addiction facility providing evidence-based, medically-led inpatient services for various groups. Situated in North Saanich on 28 acres of forested hillside, Homewood Ravensview offers a comfortable and secure environment with ocean views, spacious rooms, and a highly skilled team of medical professionals.

    As a Prime Therapist, you will play a key role in a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering seamless services and programs to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with clients and team members
    • Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans
    • Ensure continuity of care
    • Support and promote team members' professional growth
    • Offer consultation and training in specialized areas
    • Coordinate with referral sources and provide progress reports
    • Assist in client discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care
    • Advocate for clients and assist in developing safety plans
    • Supervise and provide learning opportunities for students

    This is a temporary full-time position.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in related field (Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling)
    • Registration with applicable professional body in BC
    • Training in CBT, DBT, CPT, and mindfulness modalities
    • Knowledge of addictions and mental health continuum of care
    • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
    • Strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards
    • Conduct group sessions effectively
    • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Homewood Ravensview requires all staff to have received required COVID-19 vaccinations as mandated by BC Health Authorities.
