We have an immediate opening for CNC Machinist at Lyncorp Manufacturing Ltd.; a modern 63,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility located at Aldersyde, AB


Specific Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and saws to machine to precise customer specifications.
• Knowledge of both CNC & manual equipment, and previous experience with CNC Router and Laser Table is an asset.
• Use measurement tools to ensure the accuracy of the manufactured part.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances. Able to prepare working sketches if necessary.
• Measure and mark metal and other materials.
• Fit parts to mechanisms and verify dimensions.

About You:

• Previous experience assembling, fitting and installing prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished heavy mobile equipment is an asset.
• Some mechanical fitting trade knowledge is an asset but not essential.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player
