The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Receives and responds to customer service inquiries both written and verbal.
  • Followsup on customer issues, researches problems and processes documents necessary to ensure a successful resolution.
  • Coordinate plus services with the Assistance team.
  • Call providers for missing information (Cost to date, Medical records, follow up on bills).
  • Take provider calls on bill status and funding.
  • Update system with client communication specific to a case.
- escalate process issues to Account Managers.

  • Collaboration with Account Manager and Sales.
  • Retrieve missing information for a case from corporate client.
  • Escalate big issues to Account Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary per business and department needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
  • High school diploma
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in German, French or Spanish (highly desired, but not required)
  • This position requires a person who has an inherent service orientation, who can remain calm and clearly communicate tactfully, both externally and internally
  • Understanding of different cultures
