About the role:

The Property Manager has overall responsibility for functional guidance and support for the development and implementation of standardized processes, systems and tools related to successful property management.

Property managers are responsible for the overall financial and operational management of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Property managers aim to minimize costs while keeping property systems working efficiently and effectively.

They are tasked with addressing property concerns, setting up the property management system, preventative maintenance system, and dealing with property management issues during crisis.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee, maintain, and inspect all designated buildings and properties
  • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and inspections to comply with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies.
  • Develop a framework for preventative maintenance of site mechanical, electrical systems.
  • Ensure policies are in place for sanitation, damage and pest control to meet the requirements of the sites.
  • Assist the coordinators with maintenance annual budget and report on financial performance regularly.
  • Procure and Manage vendor and contractor relationships
  • Prepare and maintain all records, correspondence, and files
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all Coordinators

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in property management will be considered
  • 5 years of experience in property management, with at least one year of property management with a similar client base.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations
  • Exceptional organizational, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong familiarity and working knowledge of affordable housing laws and antidiscrimination legislation Knowledge and Skills:
  • Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; shows concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checks processes and tasks; is watchful over a period of time.
  • Proactively communicates; informs others of what they need to know. Utilizes oral and written communication to enhance relationships across the organization. Capably articulates thoughts and ideas in speaking and listens carefully to others
