Job Summary:

We are looking for an
Animal Cage-Wash Clerk to join our Toxicology team located in
Laval.


How will you have an impact


As an Animal Cage-Wash Clerk, you will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals by keeping their living space clean.

Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Salary:


  • Sign-On bonus of 1000$
  • Basic salary: $16,25/hrs, growth opportunities within the years
  • Weekend premium: 2.75$/hour
  • Evening premium: 2.50$/hour
  • After 37,5 h: Paid at time and a half
  • Holiday: Paid at double time
  • Annual bonus based on performance

What will you work on?:


You will be responsible for
operating and performing daily checks on cage washer machines, monitor the use of soaps and various needs of the cage washers,
clean all types of animal housing and accessories,
perform basic maintenance on all cages and accessories to ensure that everything is safe for the animals and
perform minor repairs on cages and accessories.
