The MPP Policy Case Studies are one credit slot courses that are taught over one week (3 hours per day for five days) in the fall and winter terms.
Selected case studies in public policy develop the complete narrative arc of a specific policy and are based on the experience of the instructor/policy practitioner.
These courses are designed to bridge theory with practice by introducing students to the various elements of the policy process that can only be understood by practitioners who were involved in the policy's development.
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent; and extensive experience in the design and analysis of policies and implementation in actual government/industry settings, complete with a demonstrable understanding of the various complexities encountered in the policy process.
These courses are offered over one week in the 2024/2025 Fall term (week of December 9), and the Winter term (week of January 6).
