We're looking for a line cook that can assist our head chef Raz Poisson with preparing our menu, an upscale spin on southern comfort food highlighting several vegan dishes.

This position is full time and includes additional benefits. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience.


Line Cook Responsibilities:

Our kitchen team is responsible for keeping on top of our ever-changing menu and assisting our head chef in preparing outstanding dishes.

Our menu changes regularly but our core favourites stick around, so you'll get a chance to learn new skills and to perfect classic recipes.

We welcome creative cooks who are interested in building a career in the industry to bring their fresh ideas to the table.

Responsibilities include:

• Prep work for various ingredients, sauces, and side dishes
• Cook food using a variety of methods and tools
• Keep kitchen stations clean and follow safety and cleanliness regulations
• Monitor ingredient levels, label packaging, document waste
• May be required to plate dishes
• May be required to train other members of the team

Preferred Skills:

• Experience and/or interest in building a career in the food industry
• Ability to work well within a team to realize the vision of the head chef
• Ability to keep pace in a fastmoving kitchen environment
• Reliability and punctuality
• Availability on evenings and weekends
• Preferred two years' experience working in a restaurant environment
