How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

Monitor and address the company security systems (intrusion, access control and CCTV systems)
Conduct investigations related to shipments and non shipment incidents
Support DHL Security Programs and related policies
Liaise with community law, national and international enforcement agencies (police/fire) to ensure compliance and to work and assist with investigations
Support as required Company vehicles opportunities via fleet telematics system
Continually assess risks and identify areas requiring change and or improvement to present structures
Monitor and support the effectiveness of physical security practices at all facilities in Canada
Be available to assist with oncall duties on a rotational basis
Support training and loss prevention awareness programs to company officials
Conduct remote facility compliance inspections and provide escalate as required
Travelling of up to 15% per year is required.

Do you have what it takes?

Available to work 24/7 andirregular hours, including Weekends and holidays
Ability to obtain security clearance from CSIS with "Reliability Status" Clearance
Post-Secondary degree or diplomain Law and Security Administration, criminology, facilities management or similar field
Excellent verbal communications, ecommunication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong problemsolving skills
Hold current certificates in Standard First Aid and CPR
