PROFILE SUMMARY


Wesgroup is poised for substantial growth over the next several years and in preparation for this exciting and challenging phase, we are actively seeking a highly engaged, driven and experienced Content & Social Media Strategist to join our team.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


As the Content & Social Media Strategist, your mission will be to bring Wesgroup's corporate brand and family of real estate brands to life through carefully crafted online channels, key relationships and creative assets.

You will manage and execute Wesgroup's brand voice and visual language across all organic social channels and online communities, crafting compelling, unique content that is on-brand and customized for each platform.

You are responsible for defining and executing social media and content strategies, including compiling recommendations, researching opportunities, setting up and executing on content calendars, and coordinating and directing content creation with our external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Create and execute content and social media strategies that align with Wesgroup's overarching brand and communications objectives.
  • Oversee creative vendors (e.g. photographers, designers, videographers, influencers, etc.), providing clear briefs and direction on all projects that align with and enhance Wesgroup's brand; Creating/remixing social content where relevant (e.g. IG reels, stories) from content captured.
  • Develop and manage ongoing content calendars for all Wesgroup channels, collaborating with various internal stakeholders (i.e. marketing, sales, People & Culture) to ensure relevant and timely information sharing.
  • Drive and contribute to original content ideation with the marketing, sales, and people & culture teams, leveraging your insights into how we can better show up across our platforms and what content resonates best with our audiences; Actively participate in annual communications planning, translating this directly to an annual content calendar.
  • Set relevant metrics and manage monthly and annual reporting, analytics, and recommendations across all organic channels.
  • Monitor the company's online reputation and encourage a positive online community by responding in a timely fashion to all inbound messages (e.g. Instagram DMs, post comments, Google Reviews)
  • 3 years working in a strategic content and social media related position.
  • Direct experience with social media and content planning and delivery (this includes compelling strategy creation and execution, project management, and budget management & tracking).
  • Experience coordinating and managing content vendors, e.g. photographers, videographers, influencers.
  • Passion for and indepth understanding of social media marketing and strategic content creation.
  • Innate knack for brand and aesthetic / a good eye for design / an understanding of what looks good and doesn't (and what's on brand and isn't).
  • Detailoriented, practical, intelligent.
  • Excellent working knowledge of major social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
  • Proficient in social media reporting, benchmarking, and creating datadriven insights.
  • Strong understanding of analytics using both thirdparty data and native platform data.
  • Experience using and taking ownership of a social media content planning & posting platform (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout, etc).
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills.

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

  • The expected salary range for this role is $65,000 $75,000 per annum. Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
