About The Role
Nu-E Corporation is currently looking for a
Development Manager based in Calgary, Alberta.

The Development Manager will lead the prospecting and creation of a utility scale solar power project portfolio for the Northwestern United States.

The position will require the following:

• Ability to identify high potential locations for the development of utility scale solar generation sites
• Knowledge of local Transmission Facility Operators (TFOs) and Distribution Facility Operators (DFOs) in the Northwestern United States
• Knowledge of the interconnection process defined by local Independent System Operators (ISOs)
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders to quantify solar specific yields and financial viability for target areas
• Capability to lead state and federal permitting processes related to the development of utility scale solar sites
• Expertise to negotiate land purchasing or leasing agreements for potential locations
• Basic technical understanding of electrical grid operations, photovoltaics and power generation
• Ability to travel within the territory

Salary:
$110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
