- Travel to various locations in the GTA is required.
- 50% of their time is spent in the shop working on equipment, the other 50% on the road visiting clients in need of maintenance and repair.

- The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills, basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and basic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform equipment service and maintenance and to follow controls/wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Team work is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot problems and help our clients with their appliance repair needs
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial kitchen appliances.
- Generate accurate records of performed work, materials, and time.
- Effectively communicate options and course of action with the customers; provide cost estimates.
- Attend regular training and maintain working knowledge of latest industry developments.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work station in accordance with Nella Cutlery's standards and appropriate health and safety regulations (WHMIS)
- Perform other duties as required
- Physically demanding; Ability to distinguish between colors; Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Trade certification in a related field. (electrical/mechanical/technical/refrigeration) is an asset.
- Previous experience servicing hot food equipment an asset.
- Electrical/ mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technology.
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record (abstract) required. HVAC license would be an asset.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills, accountable and self-driven.
