Order Entry/customer Service Clerk - Stoney Creek, Canada - Del Windows & Doors Inc.

Successful Manufacturer for over 35 years in the Window & Door Industry is looking for an experienced Order Entry/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team.
SUMMARY:
Receive, process, track and escalate sales quotes & orders through to delivery or pick up of product. Reporting to Customer Care Manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer calls and provide information to customers regarding, general inquiries and product training, status updates on quotes/orders, and troubleshooting for our online software
Prefweb. Training provided on software. - Process all incoming orders according to product lead times and delivery schedule. Send all confirmations and responsible for any revisions made to order.
- Provide customers with product availability and pricing.
- Liaise daily with accounts receive orders and resolve problems with assembly instructions and product quality.
- Coordinate rush orders/shipments with production manager or shipment scheduler.
- Process warranty orders, process part orders as required.
- Review orders for accuracy.
- Work with Service Department on scheduling of appointments and product issues, often takes primary service call then directs accordingly.
- Maintain orderly files and records and assist with general clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time by Company.
PREREQUISITES:
- Highschool/College graduate.
- Understanding of math & measurement skills.
- Must have a minimum of two years order entry experience in a window & door manufacturing facility preferred, or within manufacturing.
- Must have a great technical aptitude or the ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Must possess the poise, diplomacy and maturity to liaise with numerous departments and handle customer complaints.
- Strong Date Entry skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computers (MS Windows, Office).
- Must possess strong keyboarding skills.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a fast paced environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office/manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION:
- Starting wage TBD based on skills and experience, especially if you possess window & door background.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
