Job Description:


Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience in working with vinyl materials for manufacturing dock seal? We are currently seeking a Vinyl Material Saw Operator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating sawing equipment to cut vinyl materials according to specified dimensions and requirements.


Responsibilities:


Operate Sawing Equipment:
Safely and efficiently operate sawing machinery to cut vinyl materials according to provided specifications.


Material Inspection:
Inspect vinyl materials for quality and defects before the cutting process, ensuring that only suitable materials are used.


Measure and Mark:
Accurately measure and mark vinyl materials based on project requirements, using precision instruments and tools.


Quality Control:
Monitor the cutting process to ensure precision and quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary.


Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on sawing equipment to ensure optimal functionality and address any issues promptly.


Adherence to Safety Guidelines:
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members.


Collaboration:
Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless production processes and meet project deadlines.


Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of materials used, measurements, and completed tasks.


Requirements:


Experience:

Proven experience as a Saw Operator, specifically working with vinyl materials.


Technical Skills:
Proficient in the operation of sawing equipment and familiarity with various cutting techniques.


Precision:
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to meet quality standards.


Safety Conscious:
Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.


Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.


Team Player:
Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.


Problem Solving:
Quick problem-solving skills to address any issues during the cutting process.

Monday

  • Friday
  • 7am to 4:30 pm
Saturday 7:30am to 12:00.

Shift could be changed based on work


Salary:
$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Saw Machine Operator: 1 year (required)


Language:


  • English (preferred)
