Technical Systems Analyst LCM Analyst


What is the opportunity?


In this role you will manage the lifecycle of hardware assets from the beginning to end; procurement, deployment and disposal.

The primary focus, but not limited to, will be the proactive server order process for Canada, United States and UK.

This professional will have a clear understanding of the Head Office strategies and manage their expectations by meeting service delivery targets and performance initiatives, delivering quality customer service.

The incumbent will also efficiently manage equipment needs by redeploying surplus where possible, to control RBCFG equipment expenditure.


What will you do?

  • Manage ITAM lifecycle for assigned portfolio of hardware assets and geographies, working towards consistent global coverage and responsibility
  • Meet with key contact and Technology Integration, considering all hardware solutions when determining server refresh/order plans
  • Ensure hardware is redeployed from surplus inventory prior to ordering new hardware from suppliers
  • Manage the Hardware maintenance for servers which are past/approaching the warranty end date
  • Audit of ServiceNow database and Dashboards for mandatory attribute completion and maintain 9598% completeness for hardware assets
  • Complete asset and CI changes as required in the CMDB
  • Manage service requests/orders and ensure they adhere to SLA commitments and approval guidelines, including responding to escalations
  • Lead/contribute to process improvement/reengineering initiatives for administration, maintenance and management to ensure the reduction of Total Cost of Ownership

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 2+ years' experience of using ServiceNow including asset management, order placement and reporting
  • Basic knowledge of CMDB
  • Ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders on complex projects with excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration and documentation skills
  • Experience in establishing requirements for new projects and enhancements including asset data modeling and business processes
  • Highly motivated and able to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of billing and invoicing process
  • ITIL V4 certification
