WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The Marketing Assistant will support the Revenue & Growth team with a variety of marketing-related tasks, including graphic design, content creation, social media management, conference/trade show logistics, and collecting industry-related marketing data.


JOB DUTIES

  • Conduct research to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of various marketing strategies and initiatives such as direct mail campaigns, corporate sales programs, internet marketing efforts, conventions, workshops, advertisements, and sales tools.
  • Identify target markets and their characteristics to broaden the appeal of the company's brand.
  • Make recommendations based on findings to capitalize on opportunities and stay competitive.
  • Support in promoting brand initiatives that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Provide editing services to ensure all communications are wellworded, grammatically correct, and aligned with the brand's tone and content standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, editors, and creative staff to produce marketing collateral that reflects the brand's messages and identity.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies for profitable margins based on market research and projections.

Job Requirements:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in the field of Marketing or Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in the fields of Marketing and/or Social Media Management
  • Resourceful and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel; as well as Canva, WordPress and Adobe Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proven organization, time management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
