    Description

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the customer
  • Provide information on different types of hydraulic fittings and making of hydraulic hoses
  • To perform general housekeeping duties.
  • To stock shelves and display merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
  • To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures including working in a diverse environment.
  • To operate the point-of-sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations when required.
  • To perform inventory counts.
  • To drive forklifts or delivery vehicles
  • Maintain yard image standards.
  • Other duties as assigned

    • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience and knowledge of building/agro products.
  • Valid Sask. Driver's License
  • Ability to work with co-workers and public.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50lbs)
  • Must be able to work with computers
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
