Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including our Corporate Speaker Series, Fireside Chats, Volunteer opportunities and Networking events.


Based in Toronto, the Co-op/Intern, Residential Operations - Corporate will report to the Residential Training Manager and support a wide range of Residential Operations roles.

Within a rotational cycle, time will be spent participating in a variety of projects with (but not limited to) the Marketing, Training, Revenue & Operations Management and Capital Planning teams.

As well as having the opportunity to be onsite at Communities learning about leasing, community management as well as maintenance operations.

What You Will experience:


Marketing

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team
  • Assist marketing team with refinement of online marketing portfolio
  • Gain an understanding of an optimized advertising mix and portfolio performance through aggregated statistics and dashboard analytics
  • Mystery shop leasing activity by phone and online
  • Work with communities to increase online resident tool adoption
  • Taking inventory of site marketing assets such as floorplans, assist in preparing assets that conform to brand standards as directed by the marketing team

Training

  • Work with Residential Operations Specialists & Community teams to develop digital training materials
  • Work with Residential Operations Specialists to pull data reports to determine trends, gaps, and audience analysis
  • Conduct UAT educational support by reviewing and testing newly created eLearning programs and learning plans before deploying to production.

Revenue & Operations Management

  • Provide support to the Revenue Manager through the Community rent review sessions
  • Ensure that data feeds between Revenue Platform and Yardi are operating as anticipated
  • Provide support to the Operations Director on current projects and relevant analysis
  • Review Budget timeline and deliverables ensuring all submissions are submitted on time

Capital Management

  • Provide administrative support to the construction project delivery team
  • Assist in creating and administering consolidated reporting and capital projects progress updates
  • Data entry for all capital project information and approvals
  • Assist with the tracking of capital project approvals

What you'll Bring:


  • Currently enrolled in an academic program preferably in Real Estate, Business, Urban Development, Property Management or other closely correlated programs like marketing or hospitality management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written; able to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with senior management, contractors, residents and the public; selfmotivated and professional.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.
  • Experience with customer service and ensuring customer excellence. Previous experience working within a real estate company (property management) is an asset
