Description

We are looking for an ECE, ECEA or Responsible Adult (20 hours training course or equivalent) to join our wonderful childcare team in the role of an Inclusion Support Worker for a 4 year old child with autism.

This child is already in our program and doing well with the strategies in place.

The shifts will be 3 full days (8:40-4:30 Monday - Wednesday) and 1 half day (11:30-4:30 Thursday) each week, starting as early as June 1st.

Reporting directly to the VWCA Childcare Manager and the Daycare Team Lead, the Inclusion Support Worker is responsible for working together as a team to use and incorporate consistent strategies to support an individual child with autism while attending the childcare program.

You will be assisting them to be able to participate in a meaningful way in the planned activities along with the other attendees.

If you are an ECE you will be eligible for the WE in addition to the base wage.
