Description

James Proper Care DKI is a 24/7 Emergency Restoration Service. Restoring property damage & providing specialized services including fire, water, mold and asbestos remediation.

We are looking for a full-time Finish Carpenter who will be responsible for the repairs/reconstruction of our residential and commercial sites.

The position includes but is not limited to Framing, Trim, Cabinetry, Drywall, Paint.

The position is one that requires an individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment & has attention to detail.

We are looking for a team player, someone who works well with others, can adhere to company policies, procedures & safe work practices.

Experience/Requirements:

Minimum 5 Years' Experience framing and skilled finish carpentry.
Possesses own tools (basicfull set preferred)
Framing of walls & floors, install windows & doors interior and exterior structural repairs.
Must have Drywall and Painting skills.
Capable of completing a variety of projects from start to finish ranging from basic structural repairs to total reconstruction of residential and commercial buildings.
Ability to follow direction, read building plans and scope of work, able to sketch and provide drawings with measurements.
Ability to calculate building materials required based on scope provided.
Skills and knowledge to over see a large project from start to finish including coordination of staff and trades required.
Ability to work alone as well as with others.
Must be a team player with organizational skills.
Ability to follow and contribute to the company safety program.
Oral and written communication skills.
Customer service skills.
Must be able to lift heavy loads minimum 50 lbs.
Clean criminal record check must be provided.
Valid driver's license.
WHMIS.
First Aid.
