As a QA Technician, you will perform day-to-day quality assurance activities such as inspections, internal audits, recommending corrective actions, and reports all within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform process checks throughout the production, packaging, sanitation, and shipping receiving functions of the company including GMP, metal detection, label and coding verification, general hygiene, and safety as well as in process and finished product weights verification.
- Verify daily quality documents from operation and archive.
- Perform verification of the proper functioning of testing process control equipment's and maintain calibration records. such as thermometer, scales, metal detector etc.
- Maintain daily all QA related logs and ensure it's UpToDate.
- Perform hold procedure for suspect product or ingredients.
- Collect and submits samples for laboratory analysis. Maintain frequency.
- Give food safety and quality training to production team. Maintain completion of training log
- Conduct investigations, consumer/customer complaints and maintain internal log.
- Review and archive supplier COA. Also maintain supplier NC and ensure completion log
- Support 3rd party audit preparation and maintain/ensure QA documents are in archive.
- Perform traceability exercise with production Leader and maintain records.
- Participate in plant trials and other related duties as assigned.
- Support on gathering supplier related documents and ensure documents are UpToDate. Maintain approve supplier log.
- Coordinate on execution of food safety quality standard with production leaders
- Act as onsite HACCP/QA leader and ensure CCPs, records completed in manner and procedures are followed properly.
- Maintain QA process standard on floor. Including final case label and finish product specification
- Perform internal inspection base on the QA set frequency and communicate deviation to team. Maintain records including NC log.
- Ensure completed sanitation, maintenance, pest control documents are received and archived.
- Support on other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2+ Years experience in a QA position (prefer Food manufacture)
- Postsecondary education in a relevant field
- Knowledge of Food safety HAACP, GMP, preferred PCQI trained.
- Preferred knowledge working in BRC certified plant
- Strong computer skills (word, Excel, outlook etc)
- Good communication and detail oriented
- Must be flexible for shift work or weekends if required.

$20.00-$26.00 per hour
