DEPARTMENT: Technical Sales

Role

We are seeking a recent graduate to join the Technical Sales team in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate(s) will be hired to be part of our Global Trainee (GT) Program. This 2‑year rotation program includes opportunities for training, international travel, and networking.

The Global Trainee position contributes to a specific function while the trainees learn, train, and improve skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services. For this role we are looking for candidates with a Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy, Petroleum Engineering university degree and no more than 4 years of related professional experience.

During your time as a Global Trainee, you will:

• Observe core processes through on the job training, project assignments and training activities.
• Collaborate on critical projects execution.
• Learn about Tenaris strategy, systems and processes.
• Learn about Tenaris main customers, their activities and needs.
• Analyze information and prepare different deliverables as reports and processes. Gain deep knowledge of the processes exposed to.
• Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact with different hierarchical levels in order to achieve the expected performance and results.
• Develop and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area's results.
• Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Experience and Education

• No more than 4 years of related professional experience
• Graduated with a Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy, Petroleum Engineering degree in last 4 years
• Strong analytical and Excel skills to produce reports
• Power BI and AI tools knowledge and/or experience is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office application

Schedule & Working Conditions

• Regular office hours
• The role is based in the Tenaris office in downtown Calgary
• A short-term rotation/relocation to Sault St. Marie, ON will be required at some point during the 2 year of the program
