Responsibilities
- CNC Process Engineering & Optimization Lead the design development and optimization of CNC machining processes for new existing products Develop validate robust machining strategies for complex tight-tolerance components Optimize cycle times tool life machine utilization OEE Establish maintain standard machining practices cutting parameters setup documentation Troubleshoot complex machining issues including dimensional variation surface finish defects chatter tool failure li>CNC Programming Technical Expertise Create review approve CNC programs using CAM software manual G-code programming Support multi-axis machining environments Ensure programs comply internal standards safety requirements machine capabilities Act technical escalation point CNC programming machining challenges li Tooling Fixturing Capital Equipment Design specify fixtures workholding solutions cutting tool packages Collaborate tooling suppliers evaluate implement new technologies Support capital equipment selection justification commissioning capability studies Lead machine acceptance testing FAT SAT process validation activities li Quality Process Control Ensure machinining processes meet engineering drawings GD T customer specifications Lead support PFMEA control plans capability studies Cp Cpk Drive root cause analysis corrective actions internal customer quality issues Work closely Quality support audits customer requirements li New Product Introduction NPI Lead CNC process development new programs concept production launch Provide manufacturability input design reviews DFM DFA Develop routing standard work capacity models new products Support prototype builds pilot runs production ramp-up li Leadership Collaboration Provide technical guidance mentorship junior engineers programmers machinists Collaborate cross-functionally Production Quality Maintenance Supply Chain EHS Participate continuous improvement initiatives lean manufacturing cost-reduction programs Support training knowledge transfer within CNC engineering teams ul>
