Estimated Number of Positions: 10-15, 1-2 TAs must be fluently bilingual and able to perform duties in both English and French.
50 hours based on 6 groups (approx. 48 students). Additional hours will be allocated for TAs with more than 6 groups

Job Description:
This required course examines conflict management within interprofessional health care teams. Students from Genetic Counselling, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology will participate in this case-based course. This course is delivered virtually and includes synchronous and asynchronous activities.
Access to the course content on myCourses for students begins March 18 and ends April 12.
Time before and after this period is to allow the TA to prepare for the course, schedule the group debriefs and enter grades.
Most of the hours spent on the course will occur between February 21 and April 17.Under the supervision and in collaboration with the course directors and the TA will:
- Attend TA training workshops.
- Review course materials to adequately prepare for the course.
- Coordinate the scheduling of the online synchronous group Debrief Activity (1 meeting per group) by liaising between faculty facilitator and student group members.
- Facilitate student discussion on myCourses discussion board.
- Assign student dyads for interprofessional activity and address student scheduling issues.
- Attend and support/cofacilitate the group Debrief Activity with facilitator (1 onehour meeting per group). Group Debriefs will take place between 47 pm on the following dates: April 5, 8, 9, 10, 1
- Use the myCourses platform to monitor and track student progress and participation, and enter grades.
- Grade student assessments according to course schedule.
- Respond to student inquiries.
- Communicate student issues and progress concerns to course administrators and course directors.
Salary:
$33.03/hour

Desired Degree Level:
- Current Masters or Doctoral studies in the disciplines indicated above
Qualifications:
Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Familiarity with on-line learning, myCourses
1-2 TAs must be Bilingual.
Knowledge of Mural and Zoom is an asset.
