Hours of Work: 35 hours a week


Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support such as filing, labels, typing minutes/reports, and creating charts and spreadsheets
  • Complete correspondence with workers, as necessary
  • Maintain program manuals
  • Assist with development and production of statistics and report writing using data from multiple sources
  • Review terminated files for completeness
  • Maintain resources library
  • Respond to the changing needs of programs in a proactive manner
  • Provide reception relief coverage, at minimum, two days per week
  • Travel, as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Secondary school diploma or postsecondary degree/diploma and/or technical school training
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in providing administrative support services
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask/prioritize and work under tight timelines
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Sound judgement skills
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situations
  • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Fluency in French or other languages is considered an asset

Salary Range:
$36,041 - $45,870
