    Breka Bakery & Cafe Job Description

    We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including large mixing bowls, baking trays, and utensils.
    • Remove trash, recycling, and compost from the premises.
    • Sweep and mop all floors, including high-traffic areas.
    • Clean washrooms, including scrubbing the edges of the floors and wiping down walls and vents.
    • Dust high ceilings and vacuum floors.
    • Perform other general cleaning duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
    • Hardworking and energetic.
    • Physically fit to lift heavy equipment (50lbs/25kg).
    • Responsible and dependable to show up for all shifts.
    • Attentive to detail.

    A Day in the Life:

    A typical day would involve performing the above cleaning tasks, as well as assisting with opening and closing procedures. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
