    Construction Project Manager Opportunity

    Job Description

    This is a unique chance to play a key role in managing large-scale projects at our shipyard. As the Construction Project Manager, you will oversee on-site production activities and supervise teams to ensure efficient execution of daily operations, work quality, and team management.


    • You will develop action plans, monitor tasks, propose solutions to operational challenges, and actively participate in project meetings.

    • Your responsibilities include probation evaluations, employee skill development compliance with health standards (OHS), disciplinary management collaboration with human resources.

    • You will also drive performance goals through continuous process improvement initiatives across the organization.


    Required Skills & Qualifications


    The ideal candidate should have postsecondary education in industrial trades or equivalent experience combined with five years or more of management experience handling unionized staff members. Additionally they should be proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint as well as successful completion of security clearance processes required under federal government contracts such as Federal Government Contract Security Program minimum five years residence Canada uninterrupted period not exceeding six consecutive months respectively.
