The Analytics & Automation team studies historical data to understand driving factors of service call volumes and evaluate the effectiveness of our workforce.
As a part of the team you will work closely with the Manager of Analytics & Automation to understand current business processes and make recommendations to drive change.
- Analyze large data sets to assess historical performance and recognize opportunities for improvement
- Recommend long term operational staffing strategies. Use historical data and current trends to forecast short term demand patterns.
- Produce regular reporting to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide analysis to explain any deviations from trends
- Transition datasets to BI platform for increased automation and sophistication of largescale data analysis
- Maintain a working knowledge of all business processes and how they impact data. Evaluate and recommend improvement opportunities to processes and systems
- Work crossfunctionally with other Reliance departments to solve complex problems affecting multiple teams
- Provide Ad Hoc reporting and analysis to assist various operational initiatives
- Identify and present key messages resulting from analytical projects to various business stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Creative, analytical/strategic thinker who can evaluate the needs of the business and deliver a simple solution
- Proficiency in MS Excel preferred
- Proficiency in PowerBI and SQL preferred
- Must be flexible and willing to take on a wide variety of challenging tasks
- High level of mathematical ability with a focus on functional relations and rates
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and encourage collaboration
