    Convera is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead sales of services within our established book of business in Financial Institutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development: Approach business prospects on behalf of the company to attract new clients for our Business to Business (B2B) division.
    • Influencing Client Relationships: Consult with clients on their currency requirements, risk profile and payment solutions to secure sustainable, profitable trading relationships.
    • Market Analysis and Event Planning: Perform market analysis, attend on and offline events to expand our network.
    • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales-cycle up to on-boarding the new client, then hand over responsibility to colleagues in the client account management team.

    Requirements:

    • Ambition and Self-Motivation: High integrity, tenacity, and ambition to outperform the competition.
    • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of business needs and experience in new business sales consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
    • Consultative Selling: Experienced using principles of consultative selling, customer acquisition, and executive corporate level negotiations.
    • Foreign Exchange Expertise: Required knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Salesforce experience.
    • Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions, managing timelines, and working towards key performance indicators.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • 5-7 years of B2B Sales experience in Fintech/payments/foreign exchange environment.
