Schoolhouse Playcare Centre of Lakehead Inc.

is currently looking for people to fill a part time positions for January of 2023 in our before and after school programs.

We are also in need of supply people to cover for appointments, sick days etc.


Qualifications:


  • Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Worker, Social Work, Teaching.
  • First Aid/CPR training.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Some knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act.

Requirements:


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work comfortably and effectively with children, parents, and coworkers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to accomplish all duties related to teaching in a professional, inclusive, creative Early Childhood Education Program.
  • Knowledge of the "Reggio Emilia" principles.
  • Flexible.
