Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Review the SOW and the contractual responsibilities of IBM and the Client;
  • Coordinate the establishment of the project management environment, including reporting tools, monthly reports and governance/ communication protocols;
  • Manage project tasks, schedules, and resources and make changes or additions, as appropriate;
  • Coordinate the maintenance and updates of the project contractual deliverable documentation
  • Monitor and track the project onboarding and offboarding processes of the subcontractor resources.
  • Collect the inputs and prepare the Monthly Report.
  • Manage the resourcing forecast and costs in the IBM Project Management tool.
  • Prepare status report and participate in regular weekly status meetings with the Client Service Delivery team;
  • Chair weekly status meetings with the internal IBM Management team
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly Contract meetings between the Client and IBM.
  • Resolve deviations in the SOW and review with IBM Management
  • Manage the DS&P activities, site inspections, etc.
  • Coach IBM team members and complete periodic performance reviews

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Must hold active Federal Secret Security Government Clearance:

Minimum of 10 years of experience (as of bid solicitation date) with briefing both orally and in writing to senior management and clients:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in using Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tool such as ProWorkflow, Jira, etc

Minimum of 10 years of experience with any software development project management
:


  • Experience with operational services delivery for a support environment;
  • Mandatory: Senior Project Manager experience of at least 10 years, including:
  • managing resources, scope, prioritization, and work plan
- managing project risks and issues

  • Strong client relationship management;
  • Strong project management;
  • Strong skills in oral and written communication, ability to clearly express concepts and thoughts in writing and ability to work independently and within teams;
  • Proven ability to manage customers and relationships;
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills working with project teams and clients;
  • Ability to work closely with process owners and other key stakeholders to communicate the progress of projects;
  • Effective time manager.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • PMP Certification
  • IBM Rational Tools including DOORS NG
  • PM Tools such as Integrated Project Planning & Forecasting (IPPF)
