We are recruiting a Human Resource Manager to join our team

This is an on-site, generalist HR position.

The Job:_


The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership and HR expertise to support high growth organizational objectives through long-term strategic HR planning.

This position works in partnership with team specifically in developing, overseeing, and guiding people-centric goals & growth.


Major areas of focus will include HR strategic planning, employee handbook, compensation & benefits, legal compliance, recruitment & retention, training & development, and employee relations.

The Human Resources Manager will also assume a leadership role in developing a culture that promotes engagement & performance in alignment with mission & core values.


Your Key Responsibilities
This is an HR generalist
, broad end-to-end role with direct hands-on responsibilities in the areas of:


  • Talent Strategy: As a member of the leadership team, you will assist company executives in setting and execute on the vision for all people-related functions of the organization, manage organizational development through change, and help achieve our overall business goals.

Values and Culture: You will assist executives in driving a high-performance culture, help maintain our core values, and ensure that all decisions, programs, and processes are aligned with our culture and core beliefs

Talent Acquisition: You will partner with other company managers/leaders to recruit top talent for the business that aligns with workforce plans and business objectives

Employee Onboarding: Working with department managers/leaders, you will update and execute employee onboarding programs to enable new talent productivity as quickly as possible while ensuring employee satisfaction and integration into the overall company culture

Performance Management: Working with executives, you will update and drive company-wide performance management programs that help us effectively identify high and low performers, promote and reward excellence, and drive continuous improvement across all business disciplines

Learning and Development: You will build learning and organizational development programs that aid in accurately assessing and growing our team's capabilities, increase efficiency, and drive employee retention

Compensation and Benefits: Partnering with finance and executives, you will analyze existing compensation packages and plan future compensation across all functions; benchmark our current benefits offerings and strategize for additional ones and/or changes to existing programs and processes


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration etc.
  • Hands on experience with Payroll
  • Experience with Diversity & Inclusion
  • Minimum of 5+ years' of related HR experience required.
  • CHRP Designation is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR legislation and practices.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change, designing solutions to complex and novel problems.
  • Comfortable thinking creatively, asking difficult questions and challenging existing ways of doing things.
  • Resilient and selfmanaging with the ability to work autonomously

How Much Work & When:_

  • 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday in office
  • We don't want you to overwork, and we don't want you to underwork. We just expect you to manage your time.

Where You Work:_

  • This position is based out of our Main Office in downtown Burlington, ON.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$80,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
