Legal Administrative Assistant - St. Albert, Canada - MetCredit
Description
The Legal Administrator will be responsible for:
- Drafting civil pleadings
- Notices of claims
- Preparing legal documents
- File appropriate court documents for with courts
- Communicating with vendors and clients
- Asset searches
- General administration duties
The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive and difficult client situations in a gracious and professional manner
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of legal procedures
- Working knowledge of legal documents such as wills, trust deeds and powers of attorney
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to follow company rules & policies
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Passion for working with and helping people
- Able to commit to our fulltime fixed work schedule
- Comply with industry provincial and federal legislation
