We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join our team in Victoria.
Position Summary
The Stores Person will maintain designated functions within the Logistics Team.

Tasks include order picking, kitting, shipping, customs documentation, and other duties or assignments as delegated by chargehand and/or M&L Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely meeting Viking Air company policies, procedures, and customer quality requirements relating to all Stores functions
  • Adhering to all regulatory and governing guidelines & manuals for handling, processing, and shipping materials
  • Picking & issuing materials to corresponding orders
  • Verifying orders
  • Shipping material as per order direction and/or Vikings Routing Guide
  • Shipping interbranch transfers (IBT)
  • Coordinate and/or support logistics requirements
  • Processing all required documentation (FORM 1, Pro Forma, Customs Documents, RMA etc.)
  • Safely operate stand up reach truck and/or counterbalance forklift
  • Safely handle manual pallet jack, carts, ladders, stair ladders, and other equipment within the warehouse (MHE)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Complete any other duties or assignments as delegated by chargehand and/or manager
Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • 25 years experience in international shipping
  • 2+ years experience shipping Dangerous Good
  • Forklift/reach truck certification
  • Experienced in MS Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel) & ERP system
