Torcan Lift Equipment is seeking to hire a full time, permanent accounting clerk. Our team is looking for a driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and excel in their career

  • The accounting clerk is responsible for
  • Processing accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processing accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processing banking transactions.
  • Processing credit card transactions.
  • Assisting with monthend and yearend closing processes.
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate financial records in the company's accounting software.
  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of payroll records.
  • Preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
  • Responding to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Performing other office duties as required.
  • Providing support to other members of the finance team as needed.
  • Providing support to other members of the rentals, service and training teams as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary degree in accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
