Located in Etobicoke, Ontario (QEW & Kipling), we are currently hiring a:

CNC Machinist
This is a full-time opportunity to work at a busy mould manufacturer.

You will work under the direction of a Leadhand to setup and operate multiple CNC machines to perform machining operations on various metal pieces, duties include:

obtain and review setup sheets and programs to ensure accurate cutter paths

- check and verify job dimensions using precision instruments for accuracy and conformance to models and specifications
- setup and operate various CNC machines efficiently and within tolerance to precision cuts
- make program edits as needed
- review finished parts
- complete appropriate job-related paperwork
- perform other duties as assigned

You require the following skills and competencies:

Strong knowledge of blueprints and process sheets
Programming is an asset
Accurate, selfmotivated, positive attitude, team player
Proficient in English
Strong mathematical and organizational skills
Minimum high school diploma with experience, or related technical background
Day or afternoon shift available

Previous machine shop or automotive manufacturing experiences are strong assets.
