Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant
Seeking a person with skills in working with children and some experience with children with special needs. Will provide training about Occupational Therapy and will provide all treatment plans. Will provide supervision / problem solving weekly.

Areas of intervention will include picky eating/problem feeding, helping develop lifeskills, independence with home and community routines, helping with development of executive function, and possible others.


This position will be responsible for implementing a treatment plan written by an Occupational Therapist at our Simcoe location, for children in Norfolk and Haldimand.

Intervention usually takes place in - 3 hour sessions, in their homes or sometimes in clinic in Simcoe (1 hour sessions).

We are seeking someone motivated to help effect change for kids and families, and interested in learning and being part of a team.

Requires some flexibility in hours - after schools or weekends required as negotiated.


About CATS:

We are a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Network across 4 sites (Simcoe, Hamilton, Guelph and St. George). We provide services to babies, kids, teens and adults.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
$20.00-$30.00 per hour
