Description
Key Responsibilities
- Monthend analysis and preparing journal entries
- Reporting to regulatory agencies
- Assisting with load forecasts and revenue projections
- Maintain financial models
- Reconciliation of regulatory GL accounts
- Recognize and undertake the responsibility to continually develop vision
- Professional knowledge and skills relevant to the position
Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in a business program plus enrollment in an intermediate level of a recognized accounting association.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and reporting requirements (IFRS).
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Previous experience desired in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Industry knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards, Insight and CC&B would be considered an asset
