Description
We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to join our team in Winnipeg.
In order to achieve our company's acquisition-focused growth objectives, we are looking to add a member to the Corporate Development team.
As a Manager on the Corporate Development team, you are a business-minded individual who enjoys being hands-on when it comes to analyzing strategic areas for growth for the Company.
Working closely with other members of the Corporate Development team and more broadly throughout the Company, this new position will support the People Corporation acquisition strategy.

The Manager, Corporate Development will:
- Assisting with market research/analysis and competitive intelligence on industry, market and competitor trends; Includes overall market conditions/dynamics/trends, as well as overall value proposition and strategies and innovations at competitor firms.
- Research and analysis related to new business sectors for growth, including identifying relevant potential acquisition targets within them, if appropriate.
- Assist in qualitative and quantitative analysis for strategic projects related to the company's M&A strategy, including those related to developing unique acquisition models/structures.
- Ongoing updating and enhancing of acquisition target database, as well as maintaining KPIs and dashboards that measure and monitor the effectiveness of Corporate Development activities.
- Assist in the preparation of internal materials for communication and management of group activities and results, including for the Board of Directors, Executive Management and other stakeholders.
- Support prospecting and relationship development activities through development of presentations as well as other marketing and transaction related materials.
To be successful
as a Manager, Corporate Development
with People Corporation, you will need:
- Strong business acumen, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in a teambased environment.
- Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills in financial and business analysis.
- Strong overall computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Superior analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Postsecondary degree (Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent).
- Completion of, or progress towards, other financerelated professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV, etc.) considered an asset.
