Craftsman Position Overview
The craftsman reports to the building supervisor and performs skilled tasks in woodwork, furniture repair, and construction throughout the facility.
- Five years' experience in structural and architectural maintenance is required.
Note: Skilled craftsmen are responsible for performing a wide range of tasks including carpentry, cabinet making and other woodworking projects. They work independently but also collaborate with colleagues as part of a larger team. In addition to working on individual projects they may be involved in planning and supervising large scale constructions such as new building developments or major renovations. The ability to read blueprints and understand complex designs is an essential skill for this role.
