Job Description:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages, verify and enhances all French documentation of the Operational team
  • Act as a link between the French speaking departments and the English speaking departments of our company
  • Translates into French or English some documents when necessary
  • Reconciles monthly operating budgets and provides updated reports to Senior management.
  • Analyzes and manages operational dashboards daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Handles company conferences and logistics, when required
  • Ensures strict standards for claimant/client confidentiality and complies with organizational and governmental regulations/policies and privacy legislations.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to enhance business processes.
  • Elicits, reviews, and edits operational specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Understands the interdependencies of various requirements and issues.
  • Draws workflows describing operational processes
  • Works directly with operational teams to ensure solutions meet customers' requirements and expectations and within the necessary timeframes
  • Monitoring activities to ensure they are within the scope established, are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards
  • Facilitates information gathering, interviews, workings sessions and review sessions.
  • Supports operational business efforts where required.
  • Ensures operational and client issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Works with clients to identify and prioritize required changes.
  • Communicates changes to end users.
  • Participates in harmonization of operational practices between teams
  • Consistently delivers highquality deliverables.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand business challenges, needs, and priorities. 3 to 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity an asset
  • Excellent French language skills, Written & spoken.
  • Good English language skills, Written & spoken.
  • Ability to see how operations and clients intersect and make improvements.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to understand technical topics but can explain them in a nontechnical fashion.
  • Insurance related business knowledge and experience an asset, especially group insurance and more specifically disability and life insurance
  • Experience with Visio an asset
  • Superior documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills
