We are currently searching for a driven professional to join our Operations Team in the position of _Project Manager, Operational Excellence.
_In this role, you will report to the _Director, Operations - Ridge & Operational Excellence _and play a pivotal role on various process improvement and cost saving projects.
You will ensure best practices in project management including schedule creation and adherence and clear communication.As Project Manager, Operational Excellence you will
- Plan, execute, and manage a variety of projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure that they
- Develops, manages and improves a project management plan that outlines scope, savings,
- Develops, assists and coaches on project charter with sponsor(s) and team members.
- Works closely with Finance team to ensure cost is being calculated and tracked properly.
- Coordinates project(s) execution plan.
- Organizes and conducts meetings with project staff, stakeholders and management to
- Develops and manages stakeholder relationship and expectations, progress reports,
- Anticipates potential roadblocks and develops solutions to prevent issues from arising.
- Actively and proactively engage in the ongoing management and improvement of Aurora's
- Where applicable, promote and maintain GMP requirements.
- Other duties as required.
It would be great if you have
- 5+ years of project management experience in the manufacturing, food production or
- and quality. Track records of successfully planning and executing projects on schedule.
- Experience managing projects involving multidisciplinary teams operating in a fastpaced,
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Blet would be considered an asset.
- PMP designation or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be considered an asset.
