Role Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing administrative support to tenant construction projects, including tracking of project startup and close out documents, and all other documents required by the property owner.
Responsible for communication with the tenant, the tenant's consultants, and the tenants Construction manager to ensure Tenant fitouts are built according to the Landlord approved plans and within property rules and regulations.
Responsible for the coordination of landlord drawing review process, including engaging base building engineers for peer reviews where required.
Required to manage multiple projects simultaneously at multiple sites.
Required to attend construction project meetings and conduct site reviews to ensure all projects adhere to the Leasehold Improvement manuals of the corresponding property.
Required to create and update internal reporting documents to allow stakeholders visibility into the progress of tenant construction projects.
Resolve tenant issues relating to the delivery of tenant projects.
Provide coordination between tenant construction manager/consultants and properties for items relating to access requests, sprinkler drain downs, water shutdowns, and electrical shutdowns.
Responsible for providing construction budgets for Leasing, relating to landlord's work or tenantfit out costs as required.
Assist in the maintenance and creation of project tracking documentation.
Generate periodic and consolidated project reports and forecasts.

Experience and Qualifications:

- +3 years of experience of related business experience with property management and/or construction management firms, with preference given to experience working in Office buildings
- +3 years of experience in project management

Postsecondary education in business administration, project management and/or related work experience.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a multidisciplined environment.
Proven analytical and problemsolving skills.
Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
High attention to details and provide accuracy on projects.
Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team.
Ability to coordinate and link tasks, meet deadlines, and follow up.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Working knowledge with Yardi, Microsoft Access and Share Point is an asset.
