Basic Function and Scope:


This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with extensive operations experience to help shape healthcare for today and in the future.


Qualifications:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Cisco CCNP, CCIE preferred;
  • ITIL V3 Foundations Certification or higher;
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent experience.

Experience:


  • 7+ years of IT networking experience;
  • 2+ years of SOC or equivalent network security experience;
  • Experience in health sector is beneficial.

Required Skills:


  • Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively present analytical data to a variety of technical and nontechnical audiences;
  • Selfmotivated and able to drive others to achieve significant results through focus and prioritization;
  • Experience with networking technology including servers, firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, monitoring, and security best practices. (CISCO, FortiGate and Azure networking)
  • Installing, configuring, patching and upgrading processing, storage, networking, enduser and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to virtualization technologies.
  • Installing, configuring, patching and upgrading serverside core software, including but not limited to WindowsServer, SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Windows Servers and Linux operating systems;
  • Network L2 switching with VLANs, STP, vPC, LACP, FCOE, VXLAN;
  • Network L3 routing with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, EIGRP, etc;
  • Network Security Firewalls FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Meraki;
  • Monitoring and managing network security, including but not limited to firewalls, access control lists, antivirus tools and intrusion detection systems.
  • VPN solutions to include SitetoSite, Multisite, SitetoCloud, and clientbased VPN;
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms is an asset (Microsoft Azure Cloud /IBM / AWS/ Google);
  • Implementing and maintaining backup and restoration systems for missioncritical network servers.
  • Regulating user access to devices, services and files.
  • Network management/monitoring tools (SolarWinds, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Ekahau etc);
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
  • Project management skills;
  • VMWare, Nutanix, or other HCI platform experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for all network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, WIFI, network cloud connectivity including, virtual routing architecture, design for cloud and configuration;
  • Lead technical projects by providing network architecture, design, planning, coordinating implementations, and documentation;
  • Participate in developing a target state architecture and defining a strategy for the technical direction of network architecture;
  • Monitor hospital infrastructure for cyber threats and respond to cybersecurity alerts from hospital partners;
  • Evaluate network resiliency, support, and maintain network and security solutions both on premises and in public/private clouds;
  • Analyze network products and technologies and make recommendations to influence technical direction.
