Facilities Assistant for the Vancouver Campus.
This role is responsible for resolving maintenance and facilities related issues, and overseeing the upkeep of our campuses to ensure boutique-style outlook.
We're looking for a person who's able to perform small repairs, responsible and result-oriented with pro-active and friendly approach, and can-do attitude.
Alternatively, we will also consider part-time availability: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and set up classrooms, lounge, lobby, and common areas.
- Keep track and organize campus supplies for IT, Facilities and Academic departments.
- Provide maintenance and repair as needed.
- Invigilate students and ensure the campus rules are followed.
- Coordinate the book transfers and deliveries with the Academic department.
- Use the Helpdesk and ticket system to support staff and teachers with Facilitiesrelated requests.
- Take care of the entrance/elevators during the students' breaktime and at the beginning and end of classes.
- Partake in projects such as moving, renewing, and organizing the facilities.
- Inspect and ensure the overall good quality of the facilities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Working experience in a similar operating and maintenance role is an asset;
- Proactive and solutionoriented;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently;
- Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word;
- Good communication skills to handle with students accordingly.
- Organization and cleanliness to handle with inventory.
- Physical capability for lifting and carrying material and furniture.
- Selfmotivation to complete daily tasks and work unsupervised.
- Problemsolving mentality.
