As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you help support the provision of retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community.
You manage all incoming and outgoing merchandise in the store, verifying the number and condition of deliveries, completing documentation, and ensuring it is properly tracked in the point of sale system.
You create price tags from purchase orders and conduct verification checks to ensure proper pricing and inventory.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk, loads and unloads merchandise, packs and unpacks merchandise, assembles and disassembles merchandise, as well as sets up displays and signage.
You prepare transfers for outgoing merchandise, ensure merchandise is logged prior to sending for repairs, and organize time of delivery of customer products.
You may order store supplies and merchandise and fill customer orders.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
Valid Driver's Licence (Province), as required
Valid Forklift Operator certification, as required
Experience
In shipping and receiving, warehousing and pricing of merchandise
In stocking shelves
In building displays
In minor maintenance and repairs
In assembling merchandise
In operating a forklift

Perform heavy lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. 50 lbs / 23kg or more)
Part time shifts are from as early as 8am to as late as 5pm weekdays, or weekends.
Our location is the CANEX Retail Store at 4210 Labelle St.
Free parking is available. Close to transit - Cyrville train station.
