Job Description:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits MIG (Minor Injury Guideline) to join our Ontario team
Role Designation : Home-Based (Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick with Ontario region experience)
Accountabilities:
Ensure superior customer service experience
Investigation and settlement of minor injury claims (first party)
Interpreting insurance policy wordings, determine policy coverages and reserves
Ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims
Advise distribution partner on possible coverage opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum post-secondary education or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years adjusting insurance claims or similar role
Have a medical background and experience working in a medical environment
Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
