Must-Haves

  • 2–5 years
    IT Asset Management
    experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    ServiceNow SAMPro
  • Understanding of SAMPro tables and relationships with
    CMDB
  • Experience identifying, maintaining, and governing software assets
  • Governance experience:
  • Asset inventory
  • Attribute completion (ownership, lifecycle, EOL/EOS)
  • Risk identification and mitigation
  • Prior audit exposure where software asset data was provided to regulators
  • Solid
    IT knowledge
    (infrastructure + end-user software)
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • CMDB data analysis and reporting experience
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience aligning software asset management to
    OSFI requirements (Std 31) – huge plus
  • Certifications:
  • CSAM
  • ITAM
  • SAMPro
  • Audit / compliance certifications
