VAC Developments is a growing Canadian
Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company located in Oakville.

We are seeking an Experienced Scheduler to join our Team

Responsibilities:

Reviews sales forecasts, open orders, backorders, future dated orders on a daily basis and adjusts production schedules accordingly.
Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of production related data as required by internal and corporate management
Assist in weekly inventory cycle count assignments and final reporting/documentation
Establish master schedule that supports all firm requirements
Create and review work orders according to sales order demand
Develop and monitor performance of the production plan and sales forecast, working closely with Planning, Production, CSR and Finances department
Develop and maintain workload and capacity plan for all firm and prospective work.
Perform capacity simulations to identify potential problems or shortfalls and recommend alternatives or solution. Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the monthend close
Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands. Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support company objectives

Qualifications:

35 years' experience as a Scheduler or Program Planner in the manufacturing industry
Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and assignments.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
