Job Description:


The Process Owner, Studio Operations holds a significant opportunity to develop the operations process and technology standards at SSENSE in an innovative, fast paced and collaborative culture.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Studio Operations, they will be responsible for building and optimizing our end-to-end operations processes between Fulfilment Centre and Studio, and throughout studio functions by implementing and sustaining process standards across our end-to-end visual and written content production flow.

They will collaborate and partner with key decision-makers in the Operations team, internal technology functions and subcontract partners to ensure a best-in-class creative operations experience, setting a high standard for safety, employee engagement, quality and cost.


Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement (60%)

  • Lead and deliver continuous improvement activities to improve operational performance and enhance operational capacity
  • Deliver tangible financial savings through Operational Excellence processes
  • Partner with Product Managers and technology teams to develop 'pod' approach to optimization
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify performance gaps and proactively implement changes to bridge said gaps
  • Strive for perfection, delivering solutions that provide our customers with a bestinclass product and service
  • Identify areas for strategic improvement and lead kaizen events to deliver the changes required
  • Identify and rectify issues and processes that impact quality such as Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO)
  • Optimize the space utilization in line with the process and production changes and accommodate variations in growth strategies
  • Support of new developments in our studio creative operations, where an entirely new process, solution or different operational approach is required
  • Work with technology teams to ensure that new developments are utilizing the appropriate best practice or process in any new design

Process Support & Governance (20%)

  • Learn, share, and adopt best practices within the Operations teams to ensure maximum operational effectiveness
  • Ensure consistency, visibility and sustainable performance by working with our operations teams to deliver and maintain the highest levels of efficiency and accuracy
  • Support the delivery of the key metrics for each process area and develop plans for optimization and improvement where required
  • Monitor business trends and implement proactive measures to ensure consistent operational performance
  • Champion the adherence to all Health & Safety and quality standards
  • Ensure all areas of our business operate in a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible manner, in accordance with all applicable regulations
  • Support operational teams in delivering the lowest possible operating costs and the highest level of customer service

Learning and Development (20%)**- Work with Managers and peers on the implementation of continuous improvement strategies and problem solving

  • Own the Studio continuous improvement learning and development strategy, be handson, craft and deliver continuous improvement learning and development programs adapted to Studio creative operations needs
  • Build tools, documentation, content, communication plans, etc. to ensure the successful rollout and adoptions of new and existing continuous improvement learning and development programs and training
  • Ensure Studio knowledge base is maintained through standard, concise and relevant documentation

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years' experience in an ecommerce, engineering, manufacturing and logistics whilst in a continuous improvement position
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred
  • Passion for optimizing operations and the ability to engage impacted stakeholders in change
  • Superior verbal, presentation and written communication skills in French and English
  • Customer and quality focused with an eye for detail
  • Strong data analytic background with the ability to run complex analysis independently
  • Experience with platforms/tech stacks such as WMS, WFMS, CMS
  • Proven track record of increasing capacity through root cause problem solving by maximizing efficiency, waste elimination and engineering excellence
  • Experience working in an agile project management environment pre
